Collective Sanitation: Departments from Yangon Region conduct activity

In dedication to conveying Maravizara Buddha Image to the Jewellery Throne, the collective sanitation and religious verse recitation was performed at the Shwedagon Pagoda platform. 

Departments from Yangon Region conducted collective sanitation activities on the precinct of Shwedagon Pagoda and members of Sanghas and Wut Associations recited religious verses at the pagoda. 1000 staffs from more than 120 departments in Yangon region participated in the activities.

LwinKoOo, Director, Yangon Region Government, said " Led by Yangon Region Government, officials from the Regional Level Departments conduct collectively sanitation tasks as a collective merits sharing. Together with departmental heads, all departments participate in the activity. We conduct sanitation at 6:30 a.m. At the time when Maravizara Buddha Image is conveyed at the Jewellery Throne at 8 a.m, members of sanghas, Wut Associations and departmental staffs recited religious verses marking success and peace."

Tint Lwin, Deputy Head, Department of Fisheries (Yangon), said " We make sanitation for having calm, serene and peace of mind. We feel satisfied as we collectively conduct the activity together with all departments. We, all staff, also participate in the religious verse recitation as a group so that wegain joyfulness and merits immediately."

Marking the conveyance of Maravizara Buddha Image to the Jewellery Throne in Nay Pyi Taw, the sanitation activities were carried out at the pagodas including Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon.
