Collective Mass Walk: SAC Members participate in event in Nay Pyi Taw

The collective mass walk event marking the 3rd week of 2023 December Public Sports Activities was conducted on Saturday morning at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, intending to improve the health of the public and raise the Myanmar sports standard.

More than 3,800 people involving Members of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein, Union Ministers, Union Auditor General, Chairmen of Nay Pyi Taw Council and the Anti-Corruption Commission, Deputy Ministers, Deputy Auditor General, Members of the Union Civil Service Board and Nay Pyi Taw Council, other concerned officials and departmental personnel as well as their family members participated in this mass walk activity happily and joyously.

The mass walk began with a ceremonial gun fire by Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth AffairsU Min Thein Zan. And the participants enjoyed the walk from the Wunna Theikdi Stadium Gate No. 1to the front of Gate-A along the designated routes and engaged in collective physical fitness exercises Volume (1) and (2) and physical fitness dance exercises.

Then, the officials from the Department of Sports and Physical Education provided drinking water and snacks to participants.  The 4th week collective mass walk is set to take place on the 23rd of December with active participation of Members of the State Administration Council, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, departmental personnel and their family members.
