Collective Cleaning Works: Chief Minister takes part in activties in Myitkyina

Under the management of the Kachin State Government, the collective cleaning works are carried out on every Saturday in the state.

In the morning of 26th August, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan together with state ministers, state/district/township level departmental officials participated in cleaning tasks of bushes, garbage and implementation of better drainage system at the No. 3 Basic Education High School in Aung Nan ward of Myintkyina Township.

Likewise, the Chief Minister and party arrived at the No. 7 Basic Education High School in Shwe Nyaung Pin Ward and also participated in collective cleaning works togehter with departmental officials. They then inspected construction of 90 feet long and 30 feet high 3-storey RC building in Nyein Chan Tharyar compound owned by the Department of Sports and Physical Education.

This new building is under construction for the athletes with over 396 million kyats fund of 2023-2024 fiscal year.  And, they also viewed around the beautifying and greening works at Manaw ground in Siterpu Ward where the Kachin people celebrate traditional Manaw festival. The Chief Minister also inspected landscaping works for plants and repairing process of Manaw stage.
