Collective Cleaning Activities : Kayah State CM encouraged the participants

The Kayah State Government has been continuously undertaking measures to keep Loikaw, the state capital, clean and pleasant in line with urban standards.

In this regard, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw and members of the State Government this morning inspected and encouraged the collective efforts of personnel from the Kayah State Police Force, Fire Services Department, General Administration Department and other government departments in clearing bushes and overgrown grass within the compound of Loikaw University. The Chief Minister also coordinated the necessary measures.

The Chief Minister and officials then inspected the planting of grass, construction of a 400-metre running track and installation of a sprinkler system at the Loikaw University football ground, being implemented with funds from the 2026-2027 Union Budget.

Upon hearing a report from the officials concerned on the progress of the works, the Chief Minister gave necessary guidance and instructions.

The Chief Minister and officials subsequently visited Loikaw People’s Hospital to encourage 40 blood donors from the Kayah State Police Force who had donated blood in commemoration of the 62nd Myanmar Police Force Day.

They presented nutritional supplements to the donors and warmly met with and encouraged patients receiving treatment at the hospital, providing financial assistance for nutritional supplements. The Chief Minister also instructed the officials concerned to make systematic arrangements to ensure that members of the public can receive medical treatment conveniently and smoothly, it is learnt.
