Collective blood donation: Personnel from MoL conducted collective blood donation

In honoring and hailing the International Workers’ Day which falls on 1st of May, the collective blood donation of the personnel of the Ministry of Labour was conducted at 1000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital in the morning on 26th April and the Union Minister for Labour Dr. Pwint Hsan, Deputy Minister U Win Shein and the directors general of the Ministry attended and encouraged the blood donors.

The 60 personnel from the Ministry of Labour took part in the collective blood donation.

In line with the policies of the State, the Ministry of Labour is implementing the interest of the employers and employees as well as the social protection works are also conducting.

The personnel from the Ministry of Labour conducted collective blood donation with the aims at saving the millions of lives, to use the donated bloods when it’s needed for the patients with Hypertension, chronic disease, those who need operation and the pregnant women in the delivery, to be ready to use for the emergency cases, receiving rare blood groups from the blood donors etc.

The Union Minister, Deputy Minister and directors general provided medicines and supplement foods to the blood donors and viewed the collective blood donation.
