Collective Blood Donation: MPT organizes 25th edition of blood donation

A Collective Blood Donation Event of Myanma Post and Telecommunications under the Ministry of Transport and Communications was held at 1,000 Bedded Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw on 21st February.

A total of 45 participants, including Service Personnel from the Ministry and volunteers took part in the donation. Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo encouraged the blood donors, together with the Deputy Ministers and officials. 

They also provided foods and medicines for donors. Subsequently, Deputy Minister of Health, Professor Dr. Aye Tun, presented a certificate of appreciation for the blood donation, and the Deputy Minister and Union Minister handed back commemorative gifts.

This marks the 15th donation event organized by Myanma Post and Telecommunications. The event was simultaneously held at relevant hospitals and blood banks in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Taunggyi, Pathein, and Dawei. A total of 320 individuals participated in these blood donation events.
