Collective blood donation: Mon State CM encouraged the blood donors

In honoring the celebration of 80th Armed Forces Day, which will take place on March 27, 2025, a collective blood donation event organized by the Young Men's Buddhist Association (YMBA) in Mon State was held at the blood donation bank of Mawlamyine General Hospital on March 25. The event was attended by Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, state government ministers, and members of the Mon State YMBA.

Following this, the Chief Minister and state government ministers showed their support for the blood donation initiative by the YMBA members, encouraging the collective donation. They provided participants with health supplements, chicken eggs donated by the state government, and nutritional supplements, along with a certificate of honor from the hospital superintendent. The Chief Minister and officials gave words of encouragement to those who donated.

The Chief Minister also attended a coordination meeting at the state government office in Mawlamyine for the successful organization of the 2025 Mon State Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan Water Festival, delivering an opening speech and coordinating requirements.

In addition, the Chief Minister participated in the opening ceremony of the 2025 Mon State Dhammacariya and Pali Pahtamapyan examinations held at the Pariyatti Dhamma Beikman in Mawlamyine. He also attended the coordination meeting of Mon State Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Lands Management Committee and Mon State Farmland Management Committee where he delivered a speech and coordinated necessary activities.
