Collection of Population Data: Union Minister inspects the process in Yangon Region

The process for door to door collection of the population data has been carried out starting 9th January till the 31st.

Members of the Working Groups are carried out the process in order to compile the voters list for the upcoming multi-party democracy general elections. On the 14th, Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing in his capacity as the Chairman of the Central Supervising Committee for Collection of Population Data on Ground, viewed the process being carried out on Bo Aung Kyaw Street of Ward No.(9) in Kyauktada Township of Yangon Region.

The Union Minister also instructed to make systematic data entry, to be accurate and to emphasize for convenience of the public. The Union Minister and party also viewed the process being carried out on KyaukSein Street of Ward No.24 in Thingankyun Township and gave instructions on prioritizing for accurate and complete data.
