Coldplay on reducing carbon footprint

British band Coldplay plays four sold-out shows in Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium this weekend, with a total of 170,000 visitors expected to attend the concerts. The first two concerts are 27 to 31 July. Initially, they had scheduled only one show, but three more were added due to the exceptional demand.

Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin and guitarist Jon Buckland spoke to YLE on why they still continue touring, the desire to bring people together, and the way they have tried to cut down the carbon footprint of the tour.
