Coffee Industry: Tanintharyi Region CM makes inspection in Myeik

Coffee Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko made inspection in Myeik Township.

At the vegetables and plant biotechnology division in Shwedu Village, the Chief Minister heard report on status of coffee plantation expansion in Myeik District on over 900 acres of land.He also held talks with coffee growers and provided coffee seedlings.

It’s reported that the Tanintharyi Region Government has a plan to provide over 390,000 seedlings for coffee plantation expansion in Myeik District free of charge in the fiscal year of 2024-2025.
