Coating and Capping Ceremony: Taninthayi Region CM attended the ceremony

30th Batch Coating and Capping Ceremony was held at the Auditorium Hall of the Dawei Nursing Training School at Dawei Township on 25th September.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister U Myat Ko highlighted the concerted efforts of the Ministry to produce qualified nurses, midwives and medical experts to provide the effective health care services to the citizens. Two Nursing Training Schools were established and vested (B.N.Sc), (M.N.Sc) and (Ph.d) degrees. 50 Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools are established and providing advanced nursing courses with the collaboration of the international countries, he added. Then, he encouraged the trainees to value their professions and to become excellent nurses.

It was followed by presenting duty coats and nursing caps to 46 trainees. Then, the Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the school and presented awards to outstanding trainees.
