
State-level Central Committee on Administration and Management of Coastal Resoruces held a meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
Chairman of the Central Committee, Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win discussed that Myanmar is prioritizing the natural resources conservation tasks as a national duty.
He added that the central committee has been formed in April 2021 in order to promote the administrative and management works on coastal areas and mangrove forests. the first meeting of the central committee was held in June last year and 11 decisions have been laid down for future plans.
The Vice Senior General later discussed the Integrated Coastal Management Programme, plan for Myanma Coastal Management and the role of Blue Economy. Officials reported on the work undertakings and future plans.
