CMIS Database Training: To provide better services of social welfares for the people

“CMIS Database Training “ by applying  Case Management Information System-CMIS) Software Digital Platform that is a part of Social  Management Information System-SMIS was launched in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

At the ceremony, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win said that the Ministry has already drafted 90% of Case Management Program and CMIS Software Digital Platform each to apply practically SMIS system for the facts of children who are necessary to protect with social management system, children who are in conflict with the law,the children who are physical and sexual violence, misused, ignored and exploited as well as information on children in need of special care including trafficked children with the technical assistance from the Department of Information Technology of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).

This is the 2nd training and by applying SMIS Software, it will benefit providing better services for the people being undertaken by the Social Welfare Department, to be safer information, keeping and management.

The ceremony was also joined by officials of the Ministry, the Department of Information Technology of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and AIr) of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and 70 trainees from Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states. The training will last 5 days from 14th to 18th August.
