




The closing ceremony of Course for Executive Level Officials No. (16) and Course for Senior Level Officials No (19) was held at the Nilar Hall of the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on January 30 and was attended by Chairman of Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw, Director General of the office of UCSB, Rector, Pro-rectors and faculty members of CSA (Upper Myanmar), invited guests and trainees.
In his speech, the Union Civil Service Board Chairman, U Aung Thaw emphasized that senior civil servants should lead the implementation of the country’s objectives, visions, and policies. They must carry out their responsibilities with an eye toward the welfare of the state and citizens. This includes performing duties appropriately by sector and level, while fostering a workforce capable of working together with responsibility and accountability, through coordination and collaboration. To achieve this, training programs are being organized in the civil service academies.
In every country and organization, the role of leaders is crucial. It is important for leaders to be effective and reliable, continually learning about the latest knowledge, skills, and technologies in line with the current trends. To improve management and leadership capabilities, civil servants must engage in innovative and creative thinking and actions. The Chairman also encouraged leaders to live and work harmoniously with others and uphold the dignity of the nation through excellent civil service.
Regarding the training courses, a total of 22 trainees attended the Course for Executive Level Officials No. (16), while 44 trainees in the Course for Senior Level Officials No (19). The training courses ran from December 2, 2024, to January 30, 2025, it’s learnt.
