Closing ceremony of Diploma Course: UAG attended closing ceremony of IFRS Diploma Course

Union Auditor-General Dr Khin Naing Oo attended the closing ceremony of International Financial Reporting Standards Diploma Course No. 1 at the Union Auditor General's Office in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 8th April.

Speaking at the occasion, the Union Auditor General Chairperson of Myanmar Accountancy Council (MAC) said that the course covers the basic concepts, purposes, accounting, disclosure and presentation related to international financial reporting standards. She expressed her belief that the ability of trainees will be more fully improved and knowledge gained can be applied practically in workplace. The Union Auditor General exhorted all trainees to continuously study and follow latest IFRS standards’ changes and share the accounting knowledge gained, in addition to striving for the best to earn post graduate qualification.

Organized by the Myanmar Accountancy Council, the course was conducted for 3 months at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Union Auditor General office in Nay Pyi Taw, with a total of 89 trainees from Union Auditor General office, other departments and its related organizations. The completion certificates were awarded to those who completed the course, it’s reported.
