Clearing Debris: Removing debris and provisions for staff members

On 5th April, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi accompanied by Deputy Minister U Min Thu and departmental officials visited earthquake effected Myanmar Gems Museum, inspected the debris clearing process and relocation of display gems and jewellery and instructed on safety and systematic relocation process to prevent loss of gems and jewelleries.

On 4th April, the Union Minister presided over a work coordination meeting at the Union Minister’s office. The meeting focused on convenient accomodation of earthquake affected staff and family members, aids provision and operation of the office.

Subsequently, the Union Minister proceeded to offices under the Ministry, oversaw the operation processes and coordinated necessities. The Union Minister also visited the earthquake affected staff family members, comforted them and coordinated requirements.
