Cleaning and Greening tasks: Sagaing Region CM oversaw the cleaning tasks

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw together with the members of regional government, Chairmen and members of Monywa District/Township Administration Councils and concerned officials visited Maha Leiti Monastery in Monywa Township in the morning on Saturday. The Chief Minister and party donated offertories to the presiding Sayadaws and supplicated the religious matters. They then viewed around the cleaning works and efforts for better drainage system by the member of police force, Fire Brigade, staff from the General Administration Department, members of Township Development Committee and volunteers around monastery’s compound. And, they provided foodstuff to them.  

Similarly, at the Naga Self-Administered Zone, 13 districts and 29 townships in Sagaing Region, over 2,900 volunteers including Tattmatawmen, members of Police Force and Fire Brigade, concerned departmental officials and staff participated in collective cleaning and greening tasks at monasteries, basic education schools in the region.    

At the PyiHtaungSu market in Ledi ward, the Chief Minister and party viewed selling of rice, cooking oil, chicken, eggs and vegetables to the local consumers collaborating with Department of Consumer Affairs, Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, Myanmar Rice Millers Association, Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers Association and, Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP).

The Chief Minister and party also met with the sellers near the villages of Monywa Township and fulfilled the requirements. And they viewed around the Home Garden farm at the staff housing in Ledi Ward and fulfilled the needs.
