Cleaning and greening tasks: Mon State CM oversaw the collective cleaning works

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and State Ministers oversaw the cleaning tasks carried out by the departmental personnel, members of Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, civil society organizations and local residents at Pariyatti Dhamma Beikman in Hlaing Ward of Mawlamyaing Township in the morning on 22nd June.

The Chief Minister instructed to prioritize the cleaning and greening in the pagodas, temples, and precincts of the religious buildings, oversaw the collective cleaning, met with the responsible officials and coordinated requirements.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials attended the ceremony of planting Village used firewood trees in The-Phyu-Kone Village in Paung Township of Mon State and clarified the purposes of organizing the trees planting, benefits gained from the trees and forests, efforts for the restoration of forests and ecosystem etc.

At the monsoon season tree planting, Chief Minister, Chief Justice of State High Court and State Ministers planted hardwood tree of Manjansha and looked round the collective tree planting by the departmental personnel, members of civil society organizations and students and took the documentary photo.

Next, the Chief Minister and party heard the clarification of a responsible officials on an environmental conservation works such as tree planting regarding landslide of Ma Latt Hill near Ye Pya Kone Village in Paung Township in year 2000 and viewed round the thriving of trees planted.

The Chief Minister and party also viewed the medical specialists’ on-ground medical service organized by the State Medical Service Department and Chaungsone Township Medical service Department at the station hospital in MuYitKaLay Village in Chaungsone Township in the morning on 22nd June, cordially greeted the local people who are receiving the medical service, met with the medical personnel and fulfilled requirements, it’s reported.
