







The Union Election Commission is conducting clarification and demonstration regarding with the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) and it was carried out at the Ministry of Border Affairs in the morning on August 30 and attended by the Union Minister Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung, Deputy Minister Ma-J Gen. Khun Thant Zaw Htooand the officers and staff members of the Ministry.
In the afternoon, the clarification and demonstration were performed at the Ministry of Energy and attended by Deputy Minister U Thant Sin and the officers and staff members of the Ministry and conducted test voting.
The clarification and demonstration regarding with the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) was carried out by the members of UEC U Aung Lwin Oo, U Ko Ko Lwin and officials concerned from the UEC and the trial voting was conducted.
Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) is constructed by the domenstic technicians in accordance with the conditions of the country and the voters will enable to vote easily and clearly. During the clarification and demonstration at the Ministries, it appears that the officers and staff members could conduct their trial voting quickly and easily.
A total of 307 officers and staff members of the Ministry of Border Affairs and 205 from the Ministry of Energy attended the clarification and demonstration of electronic voting machine and conducted trial voting.
