"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" has been named best video game of the year at the Pegasus Awards in Paris which honour the best creations in France's video game industry. The win for Montpellier-based studio Sandfall Interactive came fresh off their record-breaking success at the US Game Awards in December.

"Clair Obscur" also scooped awards for Visual Excellence, Narrative Excellence, and Best Sound Universe at the Paris ceremony. "Clair Obscur" began in 2020 as a project of Broche, a developer at French gaming giant Ubisoft.
