Chairman of Union Civil Service Board (UCSB), U Aung Thaw, visited the Civil Service Academy  (Lower Myanmar) on May 26, and the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on May 27.

The purpose of these visits was to inspect and assess the readiness of administrative and training-related arrangements for the training programs scheduled to be conducted at each academy for the 2025–2026 training year. During his visits, the UCSB Chairman met with the rectors and responsible officials of the respective academy.

He emphasized the importance of aligning the training with the national expectations for civil servants, as defined by the government. He stated that these expectations were established with consideration for the welfare of both the state and its citizens.

He highlighted that the civil servants being trained today must, in the coming decades, become reliable and competent public servants for the nation and the people. To that end, training should be conducted progressively and appropriately by rank level, covering areas such as office management, administration, leadership, and public service skills. Following these discussions, the UCSB Chairman inspected the current state of preparedness of dormitories, dining halls, and classrooms.
