Citizenship Scrutiny: MOIP Union Minister inspects work processes in Mandalay Region

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing oversaw the issuance of National Registration Card (NRC) at the General Administration Department in Pyawbwe Township, Mandalay Region on Thursday morning and provided necessary instructions on systematic registration and scrutinizing during the process.

Then, the Union Minister and party overviewed the collecting Biographic and Biometric data under e-ID system and issuance of Unique ID and cordially greeted the locals. It’s reported that a total of 25 Household lists and 87 National Registration Cards were issued in Pyawbwe Township and biometric data were also collected from those who received the NRC Cards.

Afterwards, the Union Minister and party visited the Yamethin District General Administration Department and coordinated necessities upon reports presented by the officials.

Then, the Union Minister inspected tasks being carried out at the Yamethin District Staff Officer’s office as well as the storage of the personal information, registration and office building and instructed to keep the records systematically. Then, the Union Minister met with the staff and clarified the arrangements to coordinate the requirements of office operation.
