Circulation of fake news: Terrorist sympathizer medias circulating fake news

The news of propaganda is being circulated on the social network pages describing that the explosion of heavy weapon rounds fired by the Tatmadaw unit into Thanbo Village of Yinmapin Township in Sagaing Region at about 3:30 PM on December 5 left three local people injured.

After scrutinizing the incident by inquiring the security members serving duty in the region, the true incident was reflected that even though the security members are carrying out the security measures in the area of Yinmabin Township for the regional stability and law and order around the clock, there was no armed engagement and no firing of heavy weapon by the security members in the evening on 5th December.

It’s reported that the terrorists of so-called PDF are hiding out near the Village and they attack with drop bomb into the Village and firing heavy weapon from apart with the intention of destroying regional stability, their attacks cause the casualties of local residents frequently. But, the destructive medias spread the fake news as if those attacks are carried out by the security members by hiding out the true perpetrators of so-called PDF terrorists to create the distrust of the people on the Tatmadaw.
