Christmas wafer tradition unites Poles at home and in parliament

Every year at Christmas in Poland, Polish share special wafers decorated with religious motifs to wish each other well. This religious tradition, which dates back to the beginning of Christianity, is deeply rooted in Polish society, even in parliament, where political opponents call a truce for an evening and share the Christmas wafers.
