Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Viet Nam next week

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Vietnam next week, Beijing's foreign ministry said on Thursday.

The president will be in Hanoi on Tuesday and Wednesday at the invitation of his counterpart Vietnam Communist Party boss Nguyen PhuTrong. Xi will meet with Vietnam's top leadership and "discuss bringing China-Vietnam relations to a higher position", Beijing said.
