Chinese premier meets WEF Chief

Chinese Premier Li Qiang called for a closer global cooperation when meeting with Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab in Dalian on Tuesday.

At the meeting, Li said that future industries will be the most vitality forces for the global economic growth, and technological breakthroughs, represented by AI, biotechnology, and green energy, will open up new fields and create new business forms with high growth.

Schwab said the WEF is dedicated to carrying out close cooperation with China, promoting the sound and steady development of the global economy, and jointly dealing with global challenges.
