Chinese Premier Li Qiang meets Russian PM Mishustin in Moscow

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Wednesday held talks with China's Premier Li Qiang. They exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations, practical cooperation and key issues of common interest. Li arrived in Moscow on Tuesday for the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government. Li's visit comes as China and Russia ramp up economic cooperation and diplomatic contacts.

The regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government, held every year since its inception in 1996, is an important mechanism for implementing the consensus reached by the two heads of state and promoting bilateral cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and Russia and the launch of the China-Russia Years of Culture.
