Chinese police detain driver who rammed car into crowd, leaving many injured

Police in China say they have detained a man who rammed a car into a crowd of people in Guangdong Province, causing injuries to many of them. The 62-year-old man drove into people at a sports facility in the city of Zhuhai on Monday night. It is unknown how many people were injured. Chinese media have quoted one of the four hospitals that accepted injured people as saying that it has treated more than 20 of the injured.
