Chinese mainland reports 105 new COVID-19 cases, with 102 locally transmitted

Chinese health authority said on Thursday that it received reports of 105 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Wednesday, including 102 domestically transmitted cases and three imported ones. No death related to the disease was reported. A total of 2,059 imported cases had been reported on the mainland.

The overall confirmed COVID-19 cases on the mainland had reached 84,165, including 574 patients who were still being treated, with 33 in severe condition. Besides, 21 new asymptomatic cases, including one from outside the mainland, were also reported, and 12 asymptomatic cases were re-categorized as confirmed ones. Moreover, 3,002 confirmed cases, including 24 deaths, had been reported in Hong Kong, 46 confirmed cases in Macao, and 467 confirmed cases, including seven deaths, in Taiwan.
