Chinese Foreign Minister meets counterparts at IOMed

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on Friday with foreign ministers and senior representatives from several countries attending the signing ceremony of the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) in Hong Kong.

Wang, held a series of bilateral meetings with the visiting dignitaries to discuss deepening bilateral ties. About 400 high-level representatives from 85 countries and nearly 20 international organizations attended Friday’s signing ceremony. In his speech at the event, Wang stated that the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) represents an important global public good in the field of rule of law, contributing to improved global governance.
