Chinese FM Wang Yi meets new US ambassador to China

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with David Perdue, the new US Ambassador to Beijing on Tuesday. During the meeting, they called for healthy bilateral ties on trade, drugs and immigration. Wang Yi also said he hopes recently appointed US Ambassador will play a positive role in promoting the healthy, stable and sustainable development of China-US relations, according to a readout published by Beijing's Foreign Ministry.
