Chinese cinemas are standing by to receive movie goers with all-around epidemic prevention measures in place following the nation's further easing of coronavirus restrictions. The China Film Administration announced on Thursday that cinemas in low-risk areas have been allowed to resume operation starting from July 20 as the nation is gradually recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides disinfection, mask wearing and body temperature measurement, cinemas will also require the audience members to make an reservation online with the real name and sit separately in the projection room.
