China's Wang helds talks with Egypt counterpart

On Friday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty held a joint press conference in Beijing, as Badr wrapped up his two-day trip for strategic dialogue.

Wang said that Beijing is deeply concerned about the situation in Syria.

During the press, both sides agreed to promote peace and negotiations in order to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East. Beijing and Damascus built strong ties and establishing strategic partnership.
