




The Chinese government has unveiled to international media a rehearsal for the Victory Day military parade to be held on September 3. China will stage the parade in central Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its victory over Japan at the end of World War Two, with President Xi Jinping in attendance.
Soldiers in rows of 15 to 20 carrying guns were seen practicing maneuvers in formation, goose-stepping in sync in response to commands. A military band also performed, showing it’s ready for the big day. China’s military stated the 70-minute review will showcase a series of next-generation armaments.
