China-Japan-ROK cooperation

China attaches great importance to and is confident about cooperation among China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK), Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said when attending Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba’s meeting with Foreign ministers from the three neighboring countries in Tokyo on Friday.

Wang said that China-Japan-ROK cooperation has played an important role in enhancing mutual understanding and mutually beneficial cooperation among them.

Wang also stated that China is willing to work with Japan and the ROK to establish a correct view of World War II history, uphold multilateralism, safeguard the core role of the United Nations in the international system. He also stressed to continuously promote cooperation and make respective contributions to regional and world peace and prosperity.
