China-Iran-Russia statement

Iran and Russia appreciate China’s constructive role in facilitating a political solution to the Iranian nuclear issue and hosting a meeting in Beijing, where all three nations agreed to sustain communication and cooperation, according to a joint statement released on Friday.

China hosted a meeting with Russia and Iran on the Iranian nuclear issue in Beijing earlier on Friday. China, Russia and Iran jointly called for putting an end to all illegal unilateral sanctions.

The Beijing meeting is China’s latest diplomatic effort with the aim of enhancing communication and coordination and creating conditions for resuming dialogue and negotiation at an early date.
