China Int’l Import Expo: 35 Companies From Myanmar Display Tea, Food Stuffs And Jewelries

A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Commerce Dr. ThanMyint attended 2nd China International Import Expo at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China on November 5th.

Representatives from 155 countries and 22 International Organizations joined the Expo. In the afternoon of that day, Union Minister and party attended the 2nd Hongqiao International Economic Forum at Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center.

On the 6th, the Union Minister met Myanmar entrepreneurs who participated in the expo and discussed market situation of the products showcased in the expo, difficulties as well as the needs. The Union Minister and party then viewed around the display of booths.

The Union Minister and party then proceeded to Jing’an Buddhist Temple in Shanghai and paid homage to the abbot and looked around the temple compound.

They then went to the Pilot Free Trade Zone to inspect the enterprise. The 2nd China International Import Expo will be held till 10th November. 35 companies from Myanmar are being displayed tea and food stuffs, jewelries and mineral products.
