China to host 2nd Belt and Road science & technology conference in Chengdu

China will host the Second Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange from June 10 to 12 in Chengdu, China, with representatives from over 100 countries and international organizations expected to attend, officials announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

The event will focus on strengthening global cooperation in science and innovation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). During the gathering, delegates will participate in various activities under themes such as AI, traditional Chinese medicine, technology-driven poverty reduction, international mega-science projects, and science-policy alignment among BRI participating countries.
