On January 19, Chinese engineers successfully conducted three ignition tests on liquid rocket engines in a single day at a facility in Baolongyu, Xi’an, marking a milestone in China's space program. The tests, involving two 120-tonne liquid oxygen and kerosene engines and one 18-tonne engine, were completed at intervals of about an hour.

This achievement demonstrates China’s growing capability to support high-frequency launches for the Long March rocket series. The tests, part of pre-delivery acceptance checks, ensure engine quality before final assembly. Recent technological innovations have reduced test preparation time from five to two days, boosting efficiency for future launches.
