China, Central Asia hold ministerial meeting on public security

China is ready to work with Central Asian countries to make the China-Central Asia ministerial conference mechanism on public security and internal affairs a model of cooperation in all fields between China and Central Asian countries, Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong said Monday.

Wang made the remarks while delivering a keynote speech at a meeting of the China-Central Asia ministerial conference on public security and internal affairs in Beijing. During the meeting, the heads of delegations from the five Central Asian countries delivered speeches, expressing their willingness to implement the outcomes of the meeting, deepen law enforcement and security cooperation, and contribute to lasting security and prosperity in the region.
