China-Cambodia Military Center Inaugurated at Port Ream

A joint support and training center by the Chinese and Cambodian armed forces was officially inaugurated and put into operation in southwestern Cambodia on Saturday. 

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and a Chinese PLA delegation attended the ceremony, where both sides highlighted the center as a product of mutual respect and equal consultation, aimed at boosting military cooperation and regional security.

The inauguration also marked the launch of the “Golden Dragon 2025” joint exercise, with Chinese and Cambodian forces conducting formation maneuvers, maritime communication, and equipment drills. This is the sixth session of the ongoing bilateral military cooperation program.
