China-ASEAN Expo: Myanmar delegation departs for China

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung left for China to attend Export and Import Food Safety Organizations Cooperation Conference for the countries including in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the China-ASEAN Expo to be held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China on Wednesday.

Myanmar delegation was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister will attend the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) conference for International Cooperation of Export-Import Food Safety and China-ASEAN Expo which will be held from 14th to 17th September, and they will sign SPS agreements for exporting aquatic products from Myanmar’s water and farmed fishery products to China at the conference.
