China-ASEAN Defense Think Tank

The 2nd China-ASEAN Defense Think Tank Exchanges is opened in south China’s coastal city of Guangzhou on Tuesday. It was attended by over 70 defense policy officers and defense think tank scholars from China and ASEAN countries.

A military expert said the exchanges and cooperation between defense think tank of China and ASEAN countries play a key role in concept guidance and military diplomacy in maintaining regional peace and stability.

Defense think tank exchanges are an important channel for cultural exchanges and cooperation between countries, and an important part of military diplomacy as well, according to a researcher of the Military Sciences Academy.
