China and Russia aim to expand economic, trade cooperation

China and Russia will work together to expand economic and trade cooperation, according to a joint communique issued on Wednesday following the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government. Both sides support the holding of the ninth China-Russia Expo in Russia in 2025 and the fifth China-Russia Forum on Interregional Cooperation within the framework of the Expo, said the joint communique.
