China’s Xi announces nearly 9 billion Rupees in Grant for Nepal

China has announced a grant assistance of approximately 9 billion Nepali rupees for Nepal.

 During the official visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to China, a meeting was held with Chinese President Xi Jinping, where President Xi announced the grant. 

This was confirmed by the spokesperson of Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, President Xi expressed China’s strong support and cooperation for Nepal’s development and prosperity.

 President Xi also said that China is ready to import Nepali goods to the Chinese market and encourage Chinese investors to invest in Nepal.
