



Member of the State Administration Council Dr. Hmu Htan and Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsum Thang and departmental officials arrived at the office of Chin State Government in Hakha Township at 11 AM on 15th September and were welcome with ethnic traditional dances.
The SAC member met with the Chin State Ministers, State/district/Township departmental personnel, Township elders and members of civil society organizations at the meeting hall of the Chin State Government Office.
At the meeting, the SAC member elaborated that the State Administration Council is implementing the work processes for strengthening genuine and disciplined multiparty democratic system building a Union based on the democracy and federal system by setting the five-point roadmap, 9 objectives.
As the General election is paramount important in building democracy and federal system, to obtain correct population list and voters’ list, the necessary preparations are being carried out for the enumeration of census in 2024.
The SAC member stressed the needs to put more effort for the agriculture to fulfill the food security, expand for the development of MSME, implementation for every citizen to finish Kg+9 education by the government.
And the SAC member concluded his remark calling for the cooperation to be prevailing peace and stability to hold the free and fair multiparty democracy General election which is the ultimate goal of the State Administration Council. Next, the Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Hsun Htan gave a remark.
Afterward, the directors General and Deputy Directors General gave necessary suggestions regarding with relevant departments. Next, the SAC member, Chief Minister and Director General of Department of Agriculture Dr. Ye Tint Tun handed Urea Fertilizers to the farmers.
Then, the SAC member presented memorable gifts to the Township elders, Chief Minister to the Township level departments, Chin State Chief justice to the civil society organizations and the SAC member Dr. Hmu Htan delivered a speech of conclusion.
