







77th anniversary Chin National Day was celebrated in Hakha on Thursday. Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San attended the celebration, and inaugurated the archway of the festival, together with the Council members Dr Hmu Htang and Dr Ba Shwe, and Chief Minister Dr Vung Hsung Thang.
The ceremony commemced with the saluting of the state flag, followed by the reading out of the message, sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thuddhama Min Aung Hlaing. During the event, awards were presented to the outstanding staff members as well as the recipients of medal for excellence in administration.
In addition, 50 million kyat cash assistance were provided to the displaced staff members in Chin State, along with the provisions of DTH Satellites, DVB T-2 Sets, foodstuffs, Greenhouse and sports gears. In the afternoon, Admiral Tin Aung San and party met with the state, district and township levels departmental personnel.
The Chief Minister provided update reports on administration, economic and social matters, followed by the sectorwise reports by the officials.
The Admiral and party provided the needs. After the meeting, they took a tour of exhibition booths in commemoration of the Chin National Day, and enjoyed the performances of Chin traditional cultural troupes. They also took part in the bonfire event together with the Chin traditional cultural troupes.
