Chileans pedalled to generate electricity during Earth Hour in Santiago on Saturday so they could enjoy a nature documentary at an outdoor cinema.
The action, organised by the WWF Chile, saw a hundred people, including adults and children, pedal on 20 bicycles to watch the documentary "Great Lakes Untamed." Earth Hour took place around the world at 8:30 p.m. local time and was a global call to turn off the lights for 60 minutes, in a symbolic act to raise awareness of climate change.
