Chileans Head to Polls in Presidential Runoff

Chileans began voting on Sunday in a decisive presidential runoff, choosing between the country’s most right-wing candidate in 35 years of democracy and the leader of a leftist coalition. Nearly 16 million eligible voters are casting ballots in the contest between José Antonio Kast and his rival Jeannette Jara, a longtime member of the Communist Party.
