Chile presidential candidate Parisi says he 'doesn't care' about populist label

Chilean presidential candidate Franco Parisi responded to critics who have labeled him a populist by saying, “The president has to win the popular vote, let’s be popular, he doesn’t care about”. On his third presidential run, 58-year-old economist Franco Parisi is vying for the third place in the polls ahead of the November 16 elections, which are led by far-right representative Jose Antonio Kast and Communist Party activist Jeannette Jara.
